10. Beipan River Guanxing Highway Bridge- 366 metres.

Built-in 2003 Beipanjiang River Bridge is a 366 metres high suspension bridge built on Guanxing Highway in Ghizhou province China. It was opened in 2003 and was the highest bridge then. It was the first suspension bridge to break the 300 metres threshold.

7. Baluarte Bridge- 390 metres.

Another highest bridge in the list is called as Balurate Bicentennial Bridge. It is a cable-stayed bridge built in Mexico. It is located between Concordia in Sinaloa and Pueblo Nuevo in Durango. This is also the third highest cable-stayed bridge in the world. Construction of this bridge started in 2008 and it was opened to the public in late 2013.

6. Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Bridge- 393 metres.

The sixth highest bridge in the world and the highest pipeline bridge. Hegigio Gorge Pipeline Bridge is a suspension based bridge constructed over Hegigio River Papua New Guinea. It was the highest bridge in the world when it was constructed in 2005.

This bridge is constructed on Qingshuihe River, is the third highest suspension bridge in the world. 3. Puli Bridge- 485 meters.

The third highest bridge in the world Puli Bridge was opened to the public in 2015. This bridge dramatically reduced the travelling time from four hours to one hour. The bridge cost 440 million yuan (about US$71 million). Puli is a suspension bridge.

2. Sidu River Bridge-496 meters.

Opened to traffic in November 2009 Sidu River Bridge is a suspension bridge crossing the valley of Sidu River in Badong County China. The bridge was designed by CCSHCC and built at a cost of $100 million.

The highest bridge in the world is a cable-stayed bridge in China. Till date, the bridge is known to be the highest in the world. The bridge crosses the river between Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. The bridge is a 1.34km long bridge and shortens the journey between the two places for more than 4 hours.
